Guidong Linglong tea is a king high mountain tea produced in Qingquan town, Guidong county, Hunan province. It was introduced that Linglong tea was first planted in Guidong county 300 years ago. It is with high quality and elegant shape that looks beautiful and tastes well. So as a poem described: Guidong, mountain, water and tea are attractive.
Excellent mountain and water condition guarantee the excellent taste of tea. Tea culture is also all around Guidong county. Guidong Linglong tea was awarded with the gold prize in 1994 the 5th Asia-Pacific International Trade Expo, authorized with Switzerland quality certificate in 2001, and was enrolled into national geographical indication protection products list in 2012. “Traditional production process of Guidong Linglong tea” and “Guidong tea picking tune” were approved by the experts and were enrolled into the third batch of Hunan provincial intangible cultural heritages list.
